As we mentioned recently, Berry has an injury to her right foot. She will place her foot on the ground but very much prefers to hold it up or sit down – a clear sign its hurting her. There are no obvious wounds or bone breaks causing this discomfort, and her ankle and knee joints all appear normal with a good range of movement.
These photos were taken during her initial triage/medical assessment when she arrived. She has since begun a course of pain medication to keep her comfortable.
