Here we have our smallest herring gull aptly named ‘Dinker’
The gull behind her is a herring gull of approximately the same age but considerably bigger!
We think Dinker might have been the smallest of the brood and sometimes gull mums can be a bit ruthless and keep the strongest babies and tip the weaker ones out of their nest.
However, she’s doing really well is strong despite her small stature and gives as good as she gets!
