Can you help us to help the gulls?

These teeny tiny chicks came in at just hours or days old at the beginning of the season. They have grown fast and are now about 7-8 weeks old.

For healthy chicks, the average stay is 49-60 days.

Each kg of fish costs us £2.60, and these little beans each eat between 250g & 1kg of fish (size dependent) per day during their stay at ‘Hotel Mousehole’.

That’s £45-£75 per bird. Multiply that by the number of young gulls we generally take in each season (200-300), which works out at roughly a whopping £9000!

Add to that any veterinary care required on average during gull season (May- October) can total £2000-£3000!

We receive no government or council funding. All monies received are through donations, fundraising and legacies.

Just think, if all our supporters donated just £2 each, this would help to cover our costs for the busy season.

If you would like to contribute to their care, then please donate via our Just Giving link: https://checkout.justgiving.com/c/3343392 or check out our donate page on this website for other ways to donate and support us.

Thank you all so much for all you do already, we do appreciate your support! 💙🥰
