We currently have lots of Herring Gull chicks in care, all growing like weeds and keeping us on our toes. We also have a puffling who is doing well in an intermediate aviary while they finish developing their waterproofing.
Not all of our patients are straightforward youngsters, though. We’re also caring for a gannet kindly transported from Padstow by Chris, along with several birds needing extra support for issues such as bumblefoot, preen gland problems, and wing injuries.
Every bird receives an individual care plan, whether that’s veterinary treatment, medication, or a little extra TLC. Our aim is always the same: to give every patient the best chance of returning to the wild where they belong. ![]()

Thank you to everyone who supports us. From donations and supplies to sharing our posts and spreading the word, we can only provide this level of care because of your support. Every bird we help is helped because of you.
