Good morning everyone, we hope the autumn sunshine is with you wherever you are. 
This gull, whom we’ve nicknamed ‘Bitey’ (can you guess why??!! 
) has a damaged wing and has been having it dressed, antibiotics and pain relief. The vet has been monitoring him and found no fractures to that wing which is good news.
We are hoping that now he’s started his medication, we will see some improvement in his wing movement. Today, he’s had his dressing taken off to see how well he can hold it up for himself.
Once he’s improving, he’ll be able to go into a larger aviary with other gulls and hopefully won’t be so grumpy! 
Keep taking your medicine little one, it might not feel like it but it’s helping you get better!
