These young gulls were more than ready for release, taking to the skies almost the moment their boxes were opened. In this video, 15 birds head off on their next adventure.
It’s always a wonderful experience to watch them see the outside world properly for the first time, free to explore, discover, and find their own way in the world.
Fun fact: Gulls are incredibly intelligent birds. They’ve been observed using tools, dropping shellfish onto rocks to crack them open, and even learning from each other to solve problems.
