If you come across a gull chick and there’s no safe way to return it to its parents — or place it on a nearby flat roof (like a garage) — we’re here to help!
Open daily 9:30am – 4:30pm
If the chick is injured or looks unwell, please take it to your local vet first. They can assess whether it’s suitable for rehabilitation — and this service is free of charge. ![]()
Important:
Please do not give water using a dropper, syringe, or similar. Birds’ airways are positioned differently to ours, and giving water this way can lead to aspiration pneumonia, which can be fatal.
You may offer a little tinned fish or cat food, but remember — the chick will likely be stressed and may not eat.
Please get the bird to a wildlife centre or vet as soon as possible.
Thank you for caring for our wildlife — it truly makes a difference.
