Here’s Fred! 
We were contacted by a caring supporter in St Ives called Wendy, who told us this young man was running along her road from gate to gate but wasn’t flying. We advised her to monitor him for a day which she did but he stayed grounded.
Wendy caught him, put him in a box and one of our team collected him. 
He tested negative for Avian Influenza so we took him in.
Although wobbly, Fred showed no signs of injury when we triaged him but still wouldn’t fly although he can flap his wings well. He will be thoroughly checked by our vet to see what’s going on, but at this stage, we believe he may have been caught up in Storm Isha we had recently.
The top photo is on the afternoon of arrival, bottom photo is the next day, having moved to more spacious accommodation awaiting his vet visit
