Triage finding742g Very dirty - offered bath - very keen to get clean No obvious injuries. Cannot fly (face plants). Wings fully extend - no drop,tatty tail, feet and legs fine. No discolouration of mouth. Ate several sprats once settled. Keep in quarantine for 7 days - see vet tomorrow for full check up 31/05/2024 Ate overnight. Preening well. Checked by Vet Zoe, no obvious findings. Agrees just weakness, monitor for any deterioration. Keep inside until end of quarantine and see how copes with others of similar size in outside aviary thereafter. Supplement with Calcivet, Akwavit, salmon oil etc 04/06/2024 Vet check again by Kieran (Rosevean) with Zoe, still no presenting symptoms but poor muscle strength in pectorals and wings. Continue quarantine until 07/06/24 then out with Pogs group 07/06/24 Vets cleared him to go outside. Hes very happy and should hopefully nowe start to build up strength. 08/06/24 Settled in lovely with others, eating well and bathing/preening which will really help feathers. Supplements continued to support new feather growth
