Friend of Mousehole Wild Bird Hospital – Joint Life Membership

Become a Friend of Mousehole Wild Bird Hospital and join us in supporting our vital work in caring for and rehabilitating wild birds from around our Cornish coast. Our aim is to treat and rehabilitate wild birds in our hospital to help them return to the wild. The more Friends we have, the more care we can give!

As a charity we do not receive any Government funding and rely on the generosity of our Friends and supporters. 

By becoming a Friend of MWBH you will receive:

  • Newsletter twice a year

  • Invite to end of season talk

  • Pog’s Diary (this is a printed diary of Phyllis Yglesias one of the founding sisters)

What does Mousehole Wild Bird Hospital do with your support? 

  • It will contribute to the £300,000 per year costs of running a specialist wild bird hospital where birds are cared for by rehabilitation specialists.

  • Support our staff who provide information, advice and guidance on what to do if you find an injured bird and how best to support it.

  • Support the care for seabirds who come to Cornwall on their migratory journey often exhausted or storm-weathered.

  • Help us to play our part in contributing to sustaining Cornwall’s unique coastal and marine environment.
